This weekend we went down to Bartlett Lake for a relaxing weekend before school starts. Fishing was slow, but the weather was beautiful and we had an awesome time. Our campsite was perfect, as it was only about 8 feet from the shoreline. It was great to have some warmer weather and get the boat back out onto the water.
Happy Easter!

Early Easter Celebration

Spring Break officially started today, so Joy and I headed down the hill to see the family in Green Valley. It was a great weekend as we were able to have early easter celebrations with both sides and thaw out from the frozen north.

Headed to Washington DC

A few weeks ago, I received the exciting news that I had been chosen as one of the representatives for NAU's PT program. Having been chosen for this, I will be headed to Washington DC at the end of this month for four days. I will be out there for the Federal Advocacy Forum, which will be focused on health care, government policies affecting PT, government assistance for physical therapy student loan forgiveness, ect, ect... I am looking forward to the experience and opportunity and will hopefully be posting pictures from this trip.

Grand Canyon

The last couple of weeks have been extremely busy and because of it, the blogging updates and posts have suffered, so bear with me as some of the new posts may be a few weeks old.

A few weeks ago Melissa came up for the weekend and for a late birthday celebration. The weekend worked out fantastic, as we hadn't seen her for her recent birthday and she hadn't celebrated mine. We played the weekend mostly low key, but went to the Grand Canyon, which was just beautiful with the snow still on the rim.
