In just 9 short weeks, our little Wrigley has gained 25 pounds, learned to love flowers, and has become obsessed with water. He is doing fantastic in puppy kindergarden and is loved by the entire family.

Back on the Trails
Missing Flagstaff and all of the wonderful hiking we had outside our door, we have been trying to hike both Mt. Lemmon and Madera Canyon to cool off from the summer heat. Impressing us all, Matthew and Ethan have been keeping up even for a 6.5 mile hike, yes Ethan who is 4 years old. (And Wrigley at 13 wks.) Lunchtime, however, is our favorite part!
Getting Away for the Weekend
Having Joy back to work full time and internships off to a running start, we decided to take advantage of the three day weekend we had. So we decided to go camping down at Parker Canyon Lake. The fish we caught weren't trophies to say the least, but the three of us had a great time. Wrigley didn't hesitate when we got to the lake as he took advantage of the first chance he had to jump in.

Bahamas
While it is hard to believe that 5 years have come and gone, we decided to celebrate it by going to the Bahamas. It was extremely relaxing, which was just what we both needed. The majority of our trip consisted of laying on the beach and of course eatting, but we also did some snorkeling, shopping, and water sports. It was truly beautiful and once again we were happy to be spoiled by a Sandals resort. During the trip we had to laugh as we were often asked if we were honeymooning, no one believed us when we told them we were celebrating 5 years. All in all we had a wonderful anniversary and are looking forward to many more years ahead of us.
Anniversary Night
Celebrating 5 wonderful years together, we enjoyed an amazing dinner at the Baccarat, which is the resort's five star restaurant. While it did rain that night, it was a fun adventure trying to stay dry in our dress clothes as we made our way from our room to the restaurant. We laughed the entire way and managed to stay pretty dry.
Bahamas: Round 2
In a horrible turn of events, the flight we were booked to come home on was cancelled until the following morning:) As a result, we were put up at the Sheraton on Cable Beach and were comped all meals and transportation. To make things just that much sweeter, when we scheduled our transportation back to the airport the following morning, we actually had a limousine pick us up. While it did create some scheduling issues, we won't complain about being "stuck" in the Bahamas an extra day for free.

Welcome Home Wrigley
Today we picked Wrigley up from the breeder and he has been doing excellant. Joy thinks he may be the best puppy in the entire world, but her opinion may be slightly biased as she has wanted a puppy for so long. However, I have to say that he is doing very well and is busy eatting, sleeping, and playing. He even willingly goes into his crate for naps. We will post more pictures later along with our amazing Bahamas trip pics. It's much easier coming home from a vacation when you have a puppy waitting on you!!!
First Play Date
Even though it was Wrigley's first day, we thought it was a great time to start socializing him. So once we made it back up to Flag, we stopped by Sunny and Jacob's for some play time with their dog Soldier. He did awesome with Soldier and actually engaged in some play, hence the exhaustion that left him snoozing on the tile. He also had welcoming gifts waiting for him at their house. He decided to model his new shirt and is waiting to try out his new freezer toy down in Tucson.

Our New Puppy - Wrigley
Last night we drove to Golden Valley to pick out the newest addition to our family. Picking out of six puppies proved to be no easy task, as we fell in love with all of them. This little guy stood out and was definitely our Wrigley.
House Update - Everything is going great with the new house. This week the painters are completing the interior and we should have tons of pictures posted once we get moved in there in a couple of weeks.
