Having not been able to get down until this weekend, Father's Day had been pushed back until today, when we could all be there to celebrate.

Ethan's Birthday Party and Matthew's T-Ball Game
Having completed my clerkship, Joy and I went down to Green Valley for the weekend before heading out to San Diego for a much needed vacation. While we were down there, we were able to celebrate Ethan's 3rd birthday and watch one of Matthew's T-Ball games.

Weekend BBQ
This past weekend, we had some friends over for a BBQ. Having gotten the backyard together, hammock up, and the tiki torches burning, a BBQ seemed to be the only way to really welcome in the summer months.
The garden is also growing well, despite a few cold storm fronts that have moved in since we got everything planted. I had some pictures to post, but I realized they were from a few weeks ago so I will take some new ones and get those posted.

Loving The Summer Weather
The weather that we all love and some of us dearly missed during the cold winter months is back and as beautiful as ever. With such great weather we went out to Cinders for a couple of hours for a ride.

Memorial Day Weekend
For the long three day weekend, Jim, Becky, and the boys came up. We all had a great time and with all of our May snowfall having melted off, we were able to get out to the lake from some fishing and later in the evening, fire up the fire pit for smores. Needless to say, after all of that excitement, Joy opted for some time in the hammock and had some company who was loving it too.

Maybe Summer Isn't Here
To our surprise, we had a nice layer of snow when we woke up this morning and because of it, I will retract the statement that summer is here from my last post.

Mother's Day Weekend
Finally, school is out, finals are over, and summer has arrived. The semester went excellant and I have four days to enjoy until my clinical rotations start on Monday. Having a weekend of freedom, Joy and I went down to GV for Mother's Day. We didn't take many pictures while we were down, but here are a couple of our nephews. It had been awhile since we had last been to GV, so it was great to be able to spend some time with the family.

Dinner in Sedona
After a long and hard week of studying, we decided to take a little break and go to a great restaurant in Sedona with our friends Sunny and Jacob. The drive was gorgeous, as we got to see the sun set and the views were awesome. The food was amazing and the evening was a much needed destresser. All in all, it made for a perfect night!

Spanning the past four days, I took part in the American Physical Therapy Association Federal Advocacy Forum in Washington DC. I served as a represent for NAU as I had previously posted. I wish I could share all of my stories, but I now have to catch up on the last few days of school that I missed. It was an awesome experience that was effective and successful.
