Counting down the days until elk season, we all went out shooting and while we were out there we decided to make a trade. Joseph for Matthew. Yeah, Matthew is only four years old and is shooting a squirt gun, but all in all we think he has a better chance of getting a big one.

Matthew is on the right track. Best to start with a squirt gun so he doesn't end up developing a flinch later in his elk hunting career. Once he is feeling fairly confident with the squirt gun, I'd say move to a cap gun. Give it a year or two. He'll come around.
