Our House...On the Corner of the Street

BubbleShare: Share photos - Easy Photo Sharing
After many weeks of searching, Joy and I have found our first home. With a closing date set at June 10th, we are only weeks away from being homeowner's. It's in a great location in Tucson, nestled in a very nice, quiet neighborhood that one neighbor refers to as a "hidden gem." We are very excited for the closing date to roll around so that we may get in and start adding our personal touches. We are planning on having the interior painted and are in the midst of designing a brand new kitchen, which we are thrilled about.

Birthday Celebration #2

To celebrate my birthday, Sunny and Jacob went with Joy and I down to my favorite Mexican food restaurant in Sedona. There food is honestly the greatest thing since sliced bread (no joke!). After dinner, we all came back to the house and Joy had made a a homemade lemon cake with fresh berries for dessert. It was a fantastic birthday and a great night.

Birthday Celebration with the Family

Since they wouldn't be able to celebtrate my turning a quater of a century old in a couple of days, Mom and Dad had a birthday party for me while we were down visiting the weekend before.

Last Day of Boarding for the Season

While the winter this year was interesting, with one week of receiving several feet of snow and the next being "fairly" warm, we enjoyed having our snowboarding passes and our last winter in Flagstaff to the fullest.

Playing in the Snow

With the temperatures having been unseasonably warm the last few weeks, the snow is melting quickly. To enjoy the snow we have left, Jim and Becky brought the boys up for the weekend. From the visit, we found out that Matthew loves playing in the snow and having snowball fights, whereas Ethan still prefers eating the snow more than anything.

Hitting the Slopes

Part of our Christmas celebration this year included some snowboarding and lots of it. Although it was snowing pretty hard on Christmas day that didn't deture us from enjoying the mountain, which we had to ourselves. Having gone three days straight, we were able to enjoy the different weather that has come our way. Christmas day was intense with the snow falling and the next was beautiful with the sun shining and blue skies above.
